First is a LARGE family made up of smaller families looking for a way to become connected and to feel a part of a local congregation.  Whether you are a single, college student, young or a senior adult, large family or small, there are many opportunities for you to become involved and to join in the First family.  We encourage each person to find the place, class or ministry, where they are comfortable and can grow in the Lord.  This can be done through many opportunities here at First Baptist.

Opportunities for Worship

If you enjoy a service that offers praise music, hymns, choir, orchestra and teaching dealing with your everyday life then the 9:30 a.m. service is for you.  You will be led in worship by the 150 person Celebration Choir and Orchestra as well as the Praise Team and Praise Band.  Each morning at this time, Pastor Kevin will deliver a message that is relevant to your life as an individual or family, each day.

For the person who enjoys a more high energy style of worship led by a band and praise team then the 11:06 worship is for you.  During this worship opportunity you will hear music like you hear on the radio.  This service is somewhat louder and more energized.  Also, you may come as you are (suit, tie nor dress is not required nor the norm).  For this service you will want to come early to enjoy coffee, juice and donuts while talking and visiting with your fellow worshipers.

Please note:  For each of the morning services, a nursery is provided for babies through 3 year-olds and Children's Worship for 4 year-olds through 6th grade.

At 5:00 each Sunday evening we have a very relaxed, casual time of worship and learning.  Each Sunday evening Pastor Kevin shares a message that we can take and apply to every area of our life.
