First Learning Center is a ministry of First Baptist Church of Moore. Our mission is to develop children to fulfill God’s purpose of worship and service.We are committed to the physical, mental, social, emotional, and spiritual growth of each child, developing their confidence and self-worth, preparing them for a successful entry into kindergarten. We strive to compliment parents’ responsibility in modeling God’s love and teaching foundational Biblical truths to each child, while maintaining a safe, sanitary, stimulating, positive environment for our students.
FLC offers classes for children age’s birth- 6 years old. School hours are 9:30am – 2:30pm Thursday and Fridays. We follow Moore Public Schools calendar.
Open enrollment for 2012 – 2013 has started. Deadline on open enrollment is July 1, 2012.There is a $20 deposit required for each child enrolled. May’s tuition will be reduced by the deposit amount.
An enrollment form must be completed at the time of enrollment. A copy of each child’s immunization record is also required. Fill out the forms completely, include a copy of the immunization record, Mail or bring to: FBC Moore at 301 NE 27th st, Moore, Ok 73160. Please mail to the attention of Deanna Field.
Children will participate in teacher – planned activities each day. Curriculum is theme – based and includes Bible stories, letters, numbers, outdoor play, arts and crafts, cooking, learning centers, music and kidfit.
Children will attend chapel every Thursday. Pastors Glenn Barber and Walter Bradley tell a short Bible story and give the memory verse of the week.
Children are asked to bring a cold lunch every day. Teachers do not have access to microwaves, so lunch will need to be something that does not require heating. Children are asked to bring a change of clothes every day. Accidents do happen, and we want to be prepared!
Children ages 2 and under have a scheduled naptime. Please bring a napmat, blanket and security item for your child. Because of limited space, we cannot store items.
We know each child is a unique gift from God. As a child, Jesus established the example. Scripture tells us in Luke 2:52, “And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature and in Favor with God and man.” We have that goal for your child. Please feel free to contact us with any questions.
